Chao GENG began his IP career in 2010. Chao has deep understanding on procedural as well as substantive requirements of patent filing in China and other major jurisdictions. During the past decade, Chao Geng has handled large number of cases related to patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination and invalidity proceedings. His specialized fields are chemistry, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, material science and life science. With profound knowledge in the technical fields and comprehensive experience in IP law, Chao is especially good at analyzing technology, formulating filing strategy, drafting patent filing documents for sophisticated technology and counselling on complex matters in invalidity and litigation proceedings.

For years, he has been trusted by renowned clients such as CRICC, FFRC, Sinopec Group, CAAS, CAIQ, Shenhua Group, BYD, Peking University Third Hospital, etc.
