Professional Experience

Guannan Xu has been practicing in the field of intellectual property since 2012, with a strong focus on cross-border patent matters in the electrical and information & communications technology (ICT) sectors. Her practice covers the full spectrum of patent services, including invention mining and portfolio strategy, drafting and translation, multi-jurisdictional filings and office action responses, re-examination and invalidation proceedings, prior-art searches and consulting, as well as mentoring junior practitioners and leading internal training programs.

Her technical expertise spans automatic control, electronics and communications, artificial intelligence and algorithms, new energy technologies, smart devices and smart home systems, computer software, and semiconductors.

With more than a decade of hands-on experience, Guannan has successfully managed a wide range of domestic and international cases, developing deep expertise in prosecution and strategy while delivering practical and efficient IP solutions to leading enterprises and research institutions.
